Professor Annette Kur (Max Planck Institute) spoke on the topic of "The CJEU's Functions Doctrine - where does it come from and where will it take us?" at a seminar on 5 March 2019. Professor Kur is an Affiliated Research Fellow in Intellectual Property and Competition Law at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. She is the author of numerous books and articles in the field of national, European and international trade mark, unfair competition and industrial design law and international jurisdiction and choice law and was involved in the MPI study conducted in preparation of the recent trade mark law reform.
